Tiny Car Company are pleased to offer for sale this very unusual Russian scooter built by TMZ, the Tula Turist. We had never seen one of these at Tiny Car Co. before and can find very little information online about these unusual bikes. The Tula was built in Russia by TMZ who bought and reverse engineered a German Heinkel Tourist scooter. However where the German Tourist had a 4 stroke power unit. The Russian Tula had a 200cc 2 stroke power unit. A hardy and reliable engine that was also used in a lot of their agricultural vehicles. This particular bike is in excellent condition having only done 16K Km from new. the scooter has clearly been restored earlier in its life and then barely used since and as such it is a very tidy bike. We have registered the Tula with an age related plate and have given it a service and it is now running and ready to be used or added to a collection. Amazingly the scooter is still wearing its original “Made in the USSR” tyres. This is a truly collectible piece of soviet history.
