Tiny Car Co are delighted to offer for sale this particularly special little UK RHD Fiat 500 Lusso finished in stunning burnt orange paint over black interior. This car left the Fiat factory in Turin in 1972 and was first registered in January 1973.
This Cinquecento is in superb condition and is a very high quality restoration, one of the best RHD Fiat 500s that we have come across at Tiny Car Company!
Externally, the bodywork is very straight. There is no evidence of any filler or rust. the Burnt Orange paintwork looks to have been a very good paint job with a lovely deep shine. The chrome and brightwork is very fresh with minimal pitting and the rubbers, exterior lights, trims and the sunroof all look to be recent replacements.
The interior is very smart and has clearly had recent work with as new black carpets and vinyl seats all in excellent condition.
Mechanically this car has been kept completely standard and original. The 499cc engine and non synchronised gearbox feel nice and strong and the car starts drives and stops very nicely and as you would expect for a Fiat 500 in this level of fine fettle. The car has just been serviced and is ready to be used and enjoyed.
The simple 500L dashboard is showing just 57, 390 miles on the clock which based on the condition of the car and the history file, we believe is very likely to be genuine. The logbook shows just 10 owners from new and its latest owner has kept the car for 13 years.
The car is complete with a great history file with lots of old MOTs beginning from 1990 and a big stack of invoices detailing the cars continued restoration and maintenance. There are photographs of the car before and during its restoration and magazine features with the car as well as a collection of copies of the Fiat club magazine from the 1990s onwards. There is also a lovely collection of hand typed letters from the 1990s from a previous owner, keeping up to date on and sharing stories about EVH. The original Fiat 500 instruction book, Jack and tool kit are all present and correct.
